Windows & Wind Zone Compliance
According to the National Association of Homebuilders, water penetration into windows is the leading cause of problems with new construction, and it's estimated that it accounts for 5.3 billion dollars in losses. In this lesson, John Lewis, Technical Director of the Architectural Manufacturer's Association (AAMA), walks us through window and door installation requirements specified under the International Residential Codes, and explains what an inspector would look for on a jobsite.
